ABOUT - ORIGINS

Growing up a child music prodigy inside a musically gifted and supportive environment, many noticed an undeniable passion and drive in New York-born and raised Bobby Francavillo, that he would somehow succeed in the highly competitive entertainment industry.

Albeit starting as a child drummer, whereby his early teens his ability to compose was discovered and nurtured. Thanks to a supportive family and several key mentors guiding his evolution, he became internationally recognized as a composer/arranger/orchestrator wunderkind of sorts, leading his being invited to Nashville (to work alongside his high-school mentor, Jack Martin with composer/arranger Bill Justis) starting a career as an in-demand session musician and arranger in records and jingles.

Transitioning once again, together with wife Melanie Hagopian, and best friend from college, Larry Pecorella, the trio reloated to Chicago, where they opened Intuition Music offices and recording studios, with a rapid accent as an award-winning TV ad music/post-scoring house. Eventually, Intuition expanded it’s staff and creative directions adding record production and publishing, aptly naming the division imi Records - enjoying successful strategic distribution alliances with several multi-national record companies such as; WEA/Atlantic, TVT/SONY, and MCA/Universal, among others.

With desire to reconnect to their East Coast roots, he and his wife Melanie decided to relocate their young family from the Mid-West back to the East Coast, where togerher they blended and grouped all that achieved into an umbrella entity under the banner: Rock Road Media Corp., continuing music projects, while pivoting to film and television property development, and passionately exploring new creative frontiers. 

Together, the two have arguably built a solid reputation as a visionary and capable leaders in whatever sector of the industry they endeavor. Where this all may lead next is anyone’s guess. But no matter what lies up ahead, one thing that can be promised is an adventure!
